Sri Lankan Actress and Model Piymi Shanika Botheju.she well Known as Himali in paba Tele Drama. Piyumi starting her career as a trainee announcer at the Lakhanda Radio. Piyumi had received her primary education from Dharmapala Vidyalaya, Pannipitiya and had successfully completed her secondary education from Gothami Balika Vidyalaya.
Sri Lanka’s first Rupavahini Channel; Independent Television Network together with its sister radio channel;  Lakhanda Radio had organized a Bak Maha Avurudu Kumari (New Year Beauty Queen) contest almost 10 years ago. Charming Piyumie Shanika was schooling at that time, anyway she had sent an application for the contest.
Sri Lankan Actress Piymi’s Wedding was held at Gangarama Temple Colombo 7th May 2010.She is a talented Actress who well known an Himali in famous Maga Tele Drama “PABA”.
